Linda Silber, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist who started her career working in mental health centers and the Memphis School System. After receiving her doctorate in 1979 Dr. Silber began Silber Psychological Services, a private group practice that specializes in treating children, adolescents and their families in the Raleigh and Cary, North Carolina area. She enjoys treating young people with a wide variety of problems but has special interests in anorexia, bulimia, obsessive compulsive disorders, and behavior management problems. She is a member of the North Carolina Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.

Carolyn Cole, Ph.D., NCSP is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist who attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in school psychology. Dr. Cole completed her pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute where she specialized in Child and Family Therapy and Neuropsychology. Dr. Cole specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families with behavior disorders, learning disabilities, mood disorders, chronic illness, and brain injury and other neurological impairments. She has been formally trained to provide psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. In 2009, Dr. Cole relocated to Cary, NC and joined Silber Psychological Services and provides services from the Raleigh and Cary office locations. She is a member of the North Carolina Psychology Association, the American Psychological Association, and the National Association of School Psychologists.  

Doug Davis, Psy.D., received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, KY. His graduate work focused on aiding children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, culminating in an internship at the Applewood Centers, a child guidance clinic in Cleveland, OH. He has also worked with students struggling with learning and conduct challenges in private and public schools. Since joining Silber Psychological Services in 2005, he has continued his interests in working with issues of conduct, ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety and depression, and adjustment problems.

David Filipowski, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist who received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University. After completing his internship at the Hutchings Psychiatric Center, Dr. Filipowski joined Silber Psychological Services in 1988. He works primarily with teenagers and college-aged young adults and enjoys working with those who are struggling with anxiety and depression as well as those who are having minor difficulties with the law. In addition, Dr. Filipowski likes working with gifted students, those with eating disorders and young people who are struggling with interpersonal issues. Dr. Filipowski has also been very active in organized psychology, being a Past-President of the North Carolina Psychological Association and an elected-member of the governing Council of the American Psychological Association.

Eli Jerchower, Psy.D., received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is also a nationally certified school psychologist, having received his Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After completing his internship at the Center for Preventive Psychiatry in White Plains, NY, Dr. Jerchower joined Silber Psychological Services in 2003. Dr. Jerchower works with children and adolescents with a variety of difficulties, and has special interests in behavioral and compliance issues, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, parenting issues, learning disabilities, and childhood depression. Dr. Jerchower also has specialized training and experience in school-related issues and providing neuropsychological evaluations. He is a member of the North Carolina Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.

Kim Painter, Ph.D., earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. Her clinical work with children, adolescents, and their families has been in community mental health centers, schools, and private practice settings. While Dr. Painter enjoys working with children and adolescents with a wide variety of presenting issues, she has special interests in treating behavior disorders, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, and other family-related problems. In addition, Dr. Painter has expertise in working with individuals on the autism spectrum and others who also experience social skills deficits.

Kari Lenox, Ph.D., received her masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Duke University. After five years as an at-home mom with her three children, Dr. Lenox joined Silber Psychological Services in 2004. Previously, Dr. Lenox provided psychological services to children and their families through the Duke Psychology Clinic and the Orange-Person-Chatham County mental health center. Dr. Lenox works with children, adolescents, and families. Her specialty areas include aggression, peer relationship problems, and compliance issues. She also focuses on stress, anxiety, adjustment problems, and general parenting concerns. Dr. Lenox is a member of the American Psychological Association.

Stephanie B. Rodelander, ACSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who began her work as a therapist in a community mental health center. Stephanie moved to the private practice setting working with Linda Silber in 1976. Stephanie spends a lot of her clinical time working with children and adolescents in group therapy but also enjoys working with people on an individual basis as well as in various family clusters. She has special interest in working with people who are dealing with grief and in recent years has worked with more women who are experiencing problems. She enjoys working with a wide variety of problem issues. Stephanie has been certified in EMDR Level II. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Jessica Tischner, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at Ohio University. She completed her internship and postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital/Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, where she focused on treating children with various behavioral problems, autism spectrum disorders, and medical/pain diagnoses. In 2006, Dr. Tischner relocated to North Carolina and joined Silber Psychological Services. Her specialties include behavioral issues, anxiety/depression, ADHD, parenting issues, developmental delays, and medical non-compliance.

Sandra Wartski, Psy.D., received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. After interning at Media Child Guidance Clinic and The Renfrew Center, Dr. Wartski joined Silber Psychological Services in 1993. Dr. Wartski works with children, adolescents, and families and has special interests in relationship issues, communication problems, mood disorders, eating disorders, and crisis intervention. She is a licensed psychologist in North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
